Bad credit phones for people with poor credit rating?
There are many people in the uk that spend a lot of money on mobile phone top-ups, especially people who spend a lot of time calling other mobile networks.
When choosing a pay as you go deal, it’s usually best to look at the deal that has the cheapest cross network charges.
If you spend more than £30 a month on top-ups, it’s likely you are much better off with a mobile phone contract. If you have some bad credit history, this could be a problem.
No credit check mobile contract- pay monthly cash savings It’s never nice to be rejected, so don’t fill your credit file with credit checks without credit agreements; this will make your bad credit file look even worse.
Applying for credit that you won’t get is a dumb idea. The best way to get a mobile contract is get a sim only deal without a free handset. This is not a no credit check mobile deal, but the credit scoring is much more lenient so even without a choice of nice new phones, you can get a mobile contract and save your self some money.
There are many mobile phones available on eBay, as some people get contract phones, but don’t like them so they sell them, also people that get a mobile phone contract on a pay monthly deal, and they default on the deal and sell the phone. This is common with the blackberry bold and other expensive handsets.
So if you have a bad credit rating, consider buying your handset out right and getting a sim only contract deal for people with poor credit rating.

I suffer quite a bit from bad credit and this was really helpful in helping me work my way through the mobile phone mobile contracts.
You will probably be surprised at how sympathetic some of the big phone providers are of people who have a bad credit history. Before offering you a contract they will undertake some kind of status and credit check. These people are not stupid but will show some flexibility. Cheers Mark, Gravesend
I found vodafone were brilliant, they really understood my situations and the problems I have AT THE moment when I wanted to renew my contract. Thought I would share that. Thanks Gav
I dont really understand all this fad these days for bad credit this and bad credit that. If you can’t afford something then don’t buy it and get yourself into bad debt.
The article is dead right. The big fear nowadays is by filling in a credit application is the risk of rejection and the detrimental effect it will have on your credit score.
